I decided to do
something unique with the New Tial Q blow-off valves. They are very similar to
the old style Tial blow-off valves, but a little more efficient, hold more
boost and look a lot cooler than the old one. I really wanted to make my newest
project more baller by putting the blow-off valve on the front of the
intercooler. People like to normally place one on the charge pipe, next to the
throttle body. Others may put it on the hot-side near the turbo. I’ve seen them
placed on the back of the intercooler, but not where they can be seen.
By me placing them on the
front and on both sides, will allow for excess pressure to be released out of
the system. Due to it’s placement, they’re LOUD when pressure is released. This
stops compression surge back to the turbo. It's the most efficient way in my
opinion, but also more expensive. It’s two blow-off valves and more of my time
to place everything. It sure is baller!
