Fully Built Forward Facing Evo

 

One of my favorite Evo's is done. There's to much to list but here's some stuff. Fully built motor from top to bottom, our forward facing turbo kit with a billet Precision 6765 turbo, with twin Bosch 044 fuel pumps. Car makes 600+ on pump gas. Were shooting for 850-900 on C16 :) Numbers will be up soon....

Forward Facing Evo Test Run

We only got 2 practice runs in at the Orlando Speedway in the new setup this week. We ran an 11.23 so far on pump gas. More runs to come. Hopefully the rain stays away from the track...
 

Built LS VTEC

We are currently working on a Honda Civic hatch, that will have a built Ls VTEC engine and our fabthis turbo kit. This is a topmount setup with a Precision 6765 turbo, Precision 46mm wastegate, Tial BOV, custom intercooler and piping, and the downpipe and dumptube exiting out of the side of the bumper. Project will be done this week so come back and check out the final product.

Legal Street Racing - Sunshine Speedway

DB Fab was proud to be a part of the Legal Street Racing @ the Sunshine Speedway in Clearwater. We had a blast and delivered excellent numbers with our EVO 8. We will be sure to attend the next event with a few more cars and tricks up our sleeves. Check out the video we made of the evening!

Quick update...

Codename: Venom has been placed on a slight hold, as we install some new equipment purchased to speed up our already lightning fast turn-a-round. Codename: Venom is painfully waiting for it's barely street-legal upgrades. This piece of automotive perfection will display and utilize extreme performance upgrades. No expense was spared in purchasing parts. Internal work has begun with the installation of misc gauges and mounting of the nitrous system. Fabrication on the motor will begin this coming weekend. New video and photos will be up then. In additional, start-up and performance from the Green 240SX/EVO hybrid video will be up shortly. Coming Soon// Red SRT-4 Code-Name: Venom

As we finish the final touches on the Green 240SX/EVO hybrid, we are preparing for our newest project. The Red SRT-4 code-named Venom. This car was already a vicious reptile with impressive numbers on the track and street. With some impressive mods and fabrication from DB Fab, we’re upgrading this cars bite with a little more Venom. New videos & photos concluding the Green 240SX/EVO hybrid will be up soon, including new media from the upcoming Red SRT-4 code named Venom build.

Another day another weld! Manifold almost done!

Hello everyone, sorry about being lazy and not posting anything new recently. 

So here we go again. Last night the manifold is just about done. The manifold is coming out great and I am very happy with the outcome so far. It is very tight clearances down there, as far as turbo placement. We have the turbo in a spot where there is no need to move or relocate much. This of course is great on us. The turbo sits a little close to the power-steering lines, so I'm going to move the lines. Simple fix. One drawback that we found is the manifold fitting perfectly with the turbo. So, we are going to replace the stubs using all bolts. All the head and turbo bolts are really easy to reach so that will make things a lot easier if we need to take anything apart again. This is great compared to the traditional SR manifolds. Another awesome thing are my stainless steel lines have plenty of length and nothing will need to be replaced. Tomorrow I will start to port the manifold and that should complete the task. The next step is the turbo elbow and that's going to be tricky lol.
